Isn't it interesting...
//
Isn’t it interesting how our perspective has drastically changed from a God who came TO us, to us having to “do do do” to get to Him?
Isn’t it interesting how 2,000 years ago God was the One who healed everyone, but 2,000 forward He causes sickness, disease, and death?
Isn’t it interesting how God pursued us through the sea of our darkness and dived right into our sin, but now He is all the sudden repelled by us?
He BECAME sin. We BECAME His righteousness.
Funny how we didn’t think of this glorious plan. God did.
He hates us? He is mad at us? He causes death to teach us?
That is not God.
He is not so concerned with your sin as its so prevalently taught these days. He is more concerned with lavishing you with His love, and through you knowing and experiencing this love, those issues begin to wash away.
I’ll tell you who is concerned with your focus being on sin: the devil. Why? Because that is what he is. We have moved from the tree of morality, back to the tree of life where we have “no more sin consciousness”.
He didn’t pay the highest price for trash. He paid the highest price because you are worth it to Him.
The difference is that God is not interested in workers. He isn’t interested in your works, your offerings, your christian duties, or whatever else religion throws on to you.
God crossed eternity, entered His own creation, and offered Himself up to be killed BY His creation, for the very ones who were killing Him.
The Father did not kill His son. The Father, through His Son, driven by love for His creation, laid down His own life for them. Each blow made against Him was a blow that liberated the hands that were killing Him.
