The New Covenant didn’t change the Father’s nature or how the Father interacts with us but how we interact with the Father. He has always been the same: Good. One of the biggest misunderstandings in Christianity is that God was mad and now He ain’t because of the cross. Not true; He wasn’t mad to begin with. If you build your understanding of the cross on anger instead of love, you still end up with an angry God….just one that isn’t angry at the moment. :)
